ASPHALT
You can check this NYC DOT link that posts a PDF of Brooklyn streets scheduled for repaving. Don't want to come back from a vacation to find out that your automobile has been "relocated". During the resurfacing of 15th Street, I saw that the city had towed several cars left on the block, re-parking them along the metered section of 7th Avenue. Later I saw one of the cars had apparently been ticketed. Greenwood Heights, look out, you're next.
