Tosh was a West Highland Terrier. While relocating a small tree his long buried skeleton was unearthed.
During his lifetime he had been hit by a car, breaking his leg badly enough to require the fractured bone to be surgically stabilized using orthopedic stainless steel wire and a plate fastened with screws.
